Flight

gliding past sunset
trusting paths to the unknown
nature the sure guide

Vancouver, BC

This will be my last post on this blog. I've posted a photo and poem each day for the last 6 months. Photographing my environment and writing my thoughts in poetry is a learning exercise in discipline and creativity. It has been a fantastic experience.

Since I started the challenge of posting each day, there have been many views per day, and they have increased in the hundreds in the last months. What is lacking is communication from the viewers. I would like to hear more from those who were inspired by the visuals and poems I shared.

I'm all for sharing. I believe others' work can enrich our lives and bring out new awareness. If you've downloaded any of my photographs and poetry, I would appreciate that you acknowledge me as the original creator, and you're ethical and don't claim them as yours.

Inspiration is good for artists who let their imagination interpret others work in their own personal way. However if you use other artists' work to pretend they are yours, it is a lack of trust in your abilities and a disservice to your evolution. We each have an endless source of creative energy in us. It's a matter of being mindful, present and tapping into your inner strength and potentials.

I encourage you to create, explore and experiment. In the process, you'll go deeper into yourself, become more aware of the multitude of emotions that make us human, and able to connect with others in an enlightened state. No AI will ever be able to copy real emotions because they keep evolving through each individual according to their different experiences.

We know when a good thing has to end. A door closes. Another one opens. I will continue the daily posting of my work through Facebook and Instagram.

All the best. Keep in touch.
